Beautiful soprano uke, a fine example of a vintage handcrafted "Jonah Kumalae" circa 1920's with an added 5th peg, all handmade wood pegs, detailed wood inlay, the Hawaiian crest KUMALAE GOLD AWARD P.P.I.E 1915 HAWAII, strung and ready to play in gorgeous shape. Maui island shape made of monkeypod w/metal title plate, 10" x 13"
heavy and solid wood, plate has some rust, wood has some dull spots where laquer has worn off.
We have two others like this one but w/different divisions: Senior Women and Boy's 13 under. Enquire if interested in the other two.
Two vintage monkeypod wood bookends or can be used as shelves mounted on the wall, both measure 7 1/4" x 6 1/2", light oak stain colored w/lacquered finish, one tip of leaf is chipped but hardly noticeable.
Vintage 1940s surfboard made of Hawaiian koa to play cribbage. This fine game board still has the original game pegs. This is a beautifully handcrafted piece of art with function. Tail of surfboard opens for easy storage for wooden scoring pegs. Measures 13 1/2" x 3 1/2" widest point x 1" thick and still in terrific condition.
Outstanding 1940s Frank Oda - Hale Pua glass block with bamboo grasses etched in glass, hand carved koa holder also with bamboo design. The Koa wood on this is some of the most flamed we've ever seen! Koa wood holder measures 6 3/4" x 7 1/2", glass block measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" can be used as a vase or a beautiful bookend. Rare 1930s Hawaiian Koa Wood Cigarette Case slides open on top where you can fit up to 10 cigarettes, 3 x 4 1/2" with the decal of Hawaiian Coat of Arms, some wear in the laquer top coat but overall in excellent condition.
Very Unusual and Rare Coconut Button Purse. This must have taken many hours to make this Very solid purse with about 350 coconut buttons strung together with what looks like fishing line!...The buttons alone are worth more than we're asking for the purse! Measures 8" across x 10" tall (6" not including handle) and 3" thick. In beautiful condition!
