I've been collecting Surfing and Hawaiiana here in Hawaii for 25 years. In that time I've made some fantastic friends and contacts both in Hawaii and the mainland. I've had good luck finding some rare and unusual items for both myself and friends. I'm a serious collector and am passionate about preserving the history of our surfing culture. As such, I have often paid top dollar for that old surfing relic or Hawaiian artifact that I "just had to have."

I still immensely enjoy the hunt and pay bigger dollars than ever for that "new" piece. That is why I find it necessary to let go of some of the collection ... so I can keep hunting without dipping further into the kids' inheritance.
