1942 HAWAIIAN HULA COUPLE

Difficult to find large (15 1/2") Hula Couple dancing hula and playing the ukulele. Both engraved at base 'Copyright 1942 Metropolitan Art Nov. Co', glaze is still shiny and colorful, large figurines 15 1/2" to top of palm tree, base 4 1/2" diameter. Some crazing in glaze normal to period pieces, some light surface paint wear but hardly noticeable. A rare addition to any Hawaiiana hula collection. N. Mint condition.
